What’s red, white, and blue all over?
The first ever Scaping By monthly competition is done and dusted and I’m so amazed by all the excitement and support you’ve shown! All the entries are absolutely beautiful, and I’m so inspired by how cool and creative all the tablescapes look.
Just as an aside, the 4th of July is probably my third favorite holiday (after Thanksgiving and Christmas) partly because of how fun and festive red, white, and blue can be, but I may just have to change up the rankings after seeing all the amazing scapes because they’re seriously that awesome.
The competition isn’t over yet so keep tuned because I’ll be announcing the winners later on this week! But while you’re all waiting, I’ve put together all the wonderful entries for you to enjoy. I’d also love to know your favorite/s and hear your suggestions, so don’t forget to comment!

@ourgatheringtable submitted not one, not two, but four gorgeous tablescapes! I especially love how perfectly summery these look—don’t you think that last one is just perfect for an al fresco 4th of July gathering?
Using the flag for the base of your table (and adding matching linens) is such an ingenious idea!
This is such a pretty and elegant summer scape! I especially love “reusable” decor and this would be beautiful even after the 4th of July.

How unique is this French country-inspired tablescape? Farmhouse chic is so perfect for a summery and sweet look!
The bold contrasts and all the red in this tablescape make it so celebratory and festive! Again, I’m loving these cobalt blue glassware ideas!

Subtle red, blue, and white references are always appropriate! I adore this simple Independence Day breakfast look (and those cherries look absolutely delicious)!

What an elegant and patriotic tablescape! I especially love how the sunflowers contrast with the red, white, and blue.
Strawberries and sparklers come together for a very fun and celebratory scape! Everything about this gorgeous look just screams “laid-back summer” to me!
I’m obsessed with this sea-scape! Everything from the table runner to that cute turtle dip bowl is super gorgeous. Plus don’t you love how the coral napkin ring ties the whole look together?
Okay, how amazing and party-appropriate does this tablescape look?! The firework-printed tablecloth and the tinsel running through the scape makes everything so fun!
I’m loving all the American flag references in this entire picture! From the straws to the lantern—and even the decorations around the room—, everything is just so perfect and theme-appropriate!
