Get hoppy with these egg-cellent ideas!
Just ask anyone and they’ll tell you that I absolutely adore pastels and florals for Easter—they’re seasonal classics for a reason! But sometimes I just feel like setting a table that goes above and beyond the basics I see at every spring garden party, and of course I’m here to share what inspires me. From cute décor ideas to refreshingly unfussy—and yet still springtime-appropriate—settings, go past the usual ideas this season and plan a gorgeous Easter tablescape that will set your soirée apart!
Eggs, eggs, and more eggs
You can’t have an Easter tablescape without any eggs! Incorporate them into your tablescape without crossing into the too-childish territory by using smaller egg accents that blend perfectly with your colorful table arrangements.
Layer plain white and vintage plates for a fun and quirky look! Colorful decorative eggs in pastel colors also make for holiday-appropriate—and perfectly colored—personalized touches.
This pastel palette with gold accents is such a cute and feminine Easter tablescape idea! As with the example above, DIY mini egg baskets used as plate toppers add some texture to your tablescape. Finish the look with springtime blooms and colorful taper candles to add necessary height to your arrangement.
Here’s a lovely idea for an informal Easter brunch: add some contrasting textures to your table with rope placemats! Also, how cute are these egg shaped dessert plates atop each setting?
Black and white all over
Forget pastels and shake things up with a black and white—and yet still absolutely Easter-appropriate—tablescape. Cute patterns, like simple grids and gingham, topped with light décor keep the table fun and springtime-ready!
Who says a black and white palette can’t be used for an Easter table setting? Prove everyone wrong with this super cute and whimsical idea! I love the grid pattern on the napkins that match perfectly with the flowers. Add a quirky detail, like a lone pastel vase at the center of the table, to add contrast to your look.
Keep your look fun and springtime-ready with a gingham tablecloth! Pops of green are easy ways to add contrast and texture to your arrangement. Finish the look with a single egg on each place setting to incorporate Easter in an otherwise seasonally ambiguous table.
Break away from tradition and go mega minimalist this spring! Remember to keep your palette neutral to invoke the thoughts of nature and renewal. Unfussy tablescapes like these are also super cozy and refreshing, two things I strive for when throwing an intimate party!
This white and beige table screams minimalist! Add some texture and color to your décor with apple blossoms and small white flowers—I adore sprigs of baby’s breath. Finish the look by hanging decorative glass eggs from the blossom branches for an interesting take on an Easter tablescape centerpiece.
Sometimes a single egg and a sprig of flowers is all you need to add a personal touch to your table. Linen tea towels also make for amazing—and inexpensive—napkins with a more relaxed and homey feel.
Impress your guests with this ultra relaxed (and ultra cozy) Easter tablescape! Source local and seasonal flowers and foliage for a cheap way to keep your table looking rustic, laid-back, and ready for spring!
