Put a very shiny ring on it!
By now, you should all know that I’m positively obsessed with napkin rings. What can I say? They are, in my honest and humble opinion, the best way to dress up my table for the least amount of effort. Plus they satisfy my need to shop without breaking the bank (or my limited amount of storage space).
Since we’re deep into holiday season and I’ve been hosting parties left and right, I’ve been stocking up on pretty napkin rings to change up the look of my table without having to redo all my decor. My current favorites? Metal napkin rings! I just love using them to add some detail and bling to my tabletops!
Since I love sharing my finds with you all, today I’ll be talking about the metal napkin rings that I’m obsessing about and lusting over for that extra sparkle on my holiday tablescapes! Enjoy!
I ordered these gold napkin rings a week ago and I’ve already used them thrice. Can’t you tell that I’m obsessed? I also realize that this is probably the third time I’ve linked to this brand, but I swear I don’t work for them! They just consistently make great products that don’t hurt my wallet, although this set does ring in at $30.99 which isn’t the cheapest option out there.
Going back to these napkin rings and their design, I love the color which is more of an antique look than a shiny golden finish, and trust me when I say that they look spectacular against dark green napkins for a holiday tablescape. They also fit really well—not too snug and not too loose—because of their 1.5″ diameter, which is the size of an average napkin.
Runner up: SKAVIJ metal mesh napkin rings (set of 12)
I’ve linked to this product in a previous post, and I just had to pick up a silver set because I liked the gold ones so much. Prior to ordering the gold napkin rings, I was worried that they’d look a little flimsy (both sets come around to just a bit more than $1.5 per napkin ring), but these far exceeded my expectations. They’re weighty, smooth, and look super expensive—the last bit being very important when it comes to buying table products online.
My only issue with these is the sizing; these napkin rings have an inside diameter of about 2″, which is just slightly too big for most of my linens. Since I hate the look of a large napkin ring, these are reserved for my thicker napkins or for when I knot and fold my napkins into different styles.
I was looking for holiday table decor when I came across these silver napkin rings that come in the shape of snowflakes. They’re currently in my cart right now, but at $9.99 for a set of 4 I really should just bite the bullet and buy them.
This is another silver napkin ring that I picked up on my quest to find the perfect holiday decor for my tablescape! There’s just something about this reindeer shape that looks equal parts cute, festive, and Scandinavian-minimalist, that I just had to have them. Don’t you think that they’d add a nice touch to my Christmas table?
At $3.95 per piece, they’re not exactly cheap, but C&B is having a Black Friday sale and these beauties are on sale right now for $2.77. Hurry and add these to your cart ASAP!
Yet another thing I picked up for the holidays, these silver napkin rings in the shape of Christmas trees would look so cute on a holiday table! With an inside diameter of 1.5″, these fit my napkins perfectly, but I’m slightly worried about their ability to last until the next holiday season. They look like they could rust easily, but at $14.99 I was willing to take a chance on them.
While looking for even more holiday tablescape decor, I decided to pick up these silver napkin rings with a leaf design (although I already have leaf-shaped napkin rings, I’m obsessed with how shiny these are).
I love that they’re appropriate enough to be used on a holiday table, but generic enough to last me all the way until spring, making their $22.99 price tag even more worth it!
Okay, so these brushed silver napkin rings are kind of a trick as I bought something similar to these ages ago (and don’t even try asking me from where, because I honestly can’t remember), but I just love the look of them so they technically are my favorites… even if they aren’t 100% the exact same ones.
But it’s the thought that counts, right? These look almost exactly identical to mine, and trust me when I tell you that they are my go-tos for setting any sort of table.
Back to Saro Lifestyle, and back to these metal napkin rings that I’ve featured twice before (so you know that I really dig them). I first found them while searching for Thanksgiving napkin rings, and as I mentioned in that article I’m skeptical of their ability to survive the year. However, I’ve used them—and cleaned them—at least thrice since then, and they show no signs of rusting (yet).
These are part of my wishlist for this season, and for good reason. Have you seen them? I love brass napkin rings, and I don’t have many in my arsenal, making them a great addition to my tablescaping cabinet. Plus their design is drool-worthy, ultra-modern, and so unique.
As previously mentioned, Crate and Barrel is having a fantastic Black Friday sale, and these are currently going for $6.36 (down from a still very great price of $7.95). I’ll probably end up buying these tonight to add a more contemporary and modern feel to my incoming tablescapes, so stay tuned for an update.
I love using these metal napkin rings to add a little bling to my table without going overboard with too many little details. They’re perfectly plain, although the color is very golden, which makes them great to use for your everyday table. They match well with my gold flatware, and they’ve lasted without chipping, peeling, or rusting despite my somewhat rough handling of them.
For a subtler take on the napkin rings above, I love these brushed gold napkin rings that look great against stark white linens. Unfortunately, these don’t have stellar reviews on Amazon, although I must say that I never had problems with these and they arrived in perfect condition. For $12.99, I took the risk and it paid off: these would look wonderful for a Christmas morning brunch!
While going through my tablescaping cabinet a few months ago, I realized that I just don’t have enough copper details. I have a ton of metal napkin rings and all of them fall in the spectrum of silver and gold, which is a shame as copper is such a beautiful and warm color.
I bought these copper napkin rings as a way to remedy the situation, and can I just say that I am in love! These are beautifully made and have such a wonderful and minimalist design. They also surprisingly go with a lot of my linens, and not just the plain white ones either. Hurry and get them before the sale ends because they are normally pretty pricey at $2.95 a pop!
Another kind of pricey yet gorgeous copper option I picked up is this wrap copper napkin ring that comes in a matte finish. C&B always sells the most beautiful table details, and I’ve yet to be disappointed with anything I’ve ever bought from them. This is no exception! These napkin rings are handcrafted with amazing quality, and they’re extremely hefty and durable. I just love using these to take a break from my usual silvers and golds, and they complement my tablescapes so nicely.
Back to my favorite brand of all time, haha! Joking aside, I’m seriously obsessed with these interlinking silver napkin rings that remind me of the Cartier Trinity ring—although of course, those are a lot more expensive. In comparison these beauties ring in at $19.49, and for the price I think I’ll stick to this version, thank you very much.
True to Saro Lifestyle’s form, these metal napkin rings are well-made and of good quality, although not exactly cheap for a napkin ring. I’m a huge fan of how clean the lines are though, making them perfect for my more casual tablescapes.
Okay I promise I don’t work for this company! I just picked these beaded gold napkin rings up as a fun little addition to my holiday tablescapes, and I only just noticed that they’re also from Saro Lifestyle.
At $23.49 for a set of 4, they’re definitely on the pricier end of my list, but they’re very sturdy which is something I was concerned about due to the beading. I love the color and the flower detail, which makes them a fun and cheery little pick-me-up for the cold weather we’ve been experiencing lately!
